Sono-Tek Corporation to Deliver Presentations at Upcoming Advanced Energy Exhibitions

The presentations will highlight Sono-Tek's ultrasonic atomizing equipment for depositing nano-suspensions, such as active layer chemistries, TCO and PEDOT coatings onto thin-film solar cells, as well as catalyst inks onto fuel cell manufacturing components.

Milton, NY — February 2011 — Sono-Tek Corporation (OTC BB: SOTK), the world leader in the development and application of ultrasonic coating systems for spray fluxing, announces plans to deliver presentations at two upcoming alternative power exhibitions. The presentations will highlight Sono-Tek's ultrasonic atomizing equipment for depositing nano-suspensions, such as active layer chemistries, TCO and PEDOT coatings onto thin-film solar cells, as well as catalyst inks onto fuel cell manufacturing components.

Steve Harshbarger, VP of Electronics and Advanced Energy, will be traveling to Shanghai, China for the 5th Annual PV Expo, scheduled to take place February 22-24, 2011, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. His presentation, titled "Ultrasonic Coating Technology for Thin Film Solar Manufacturing, an Economical Alternative to CVD / Sputtering," will highlight the benefits of ultrasonic coating technology for thin-film solar cell manufacturing, including process benefits and major economic advantages. Mr. Harshbarger will explore the necessity of cost effective criteria in the investment into pilot lines and capital equipment for CIS, CIGS and CDTe manufacturing lines.

Chris Cichetti, Senior Applications Engineer for Sono-Tek's Electronics and Advanced Energy Division, will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan, to deliver a presentation on the technology benefits of ultrasonic spray systems for depositing carbon black inks and other catalyst suspension onto fuel cell membranes. He will speak during the technical conference at the 4th International Power Generation Expo, scheduled to take place March 2-4, 2011 at the Tokyo Big Sight.

At the show, Sono-Tek will exhibit ultrasonic spray technology for solar cell manufacturing in conjunction with Altech Corp. Ltd. in Booth E28-11 at the PV System Expo, a concurrent show hosted a the same venue.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
