-- T.R.A.-MAGE has supplied Big D Electric with a roof mounting solution for a new solar project in Cumberland, Maryland. The solar array, consisting of 396 solar modules on the Western Maryland Distributor's warehouse, will total 91 kW. This will enable Western Maryland Distributers to meet their goal of offsetting a sufficient amount of electricity from their facility to gain a net zero carbon emission point. Big D Electric chose T.R.A.-MAGE for the project because of their unique mounting solution for standing seam roofs which allowed them to meet the project requirement of no penetrations to the roof. The T.R.A.-MAGE roof mounting solution attaches directly to the standing seam maintaining the integrity of the roofing material. The mounting solution also allows the panels to be tilted from the roof surface giving the solar array greater efficiency. This is critical since the Western Maryland Distributers' warehouse roof is a shallow 1/12 slope. The T.R.A -MAGE mounting systems were delivered 90% completed and ready for installation, making Big D Electric's job much easier.
