Vista, California - Blue Sky Energy, Inc., a leading manufacturer of photovoltaic battery charge controllers has been selected to supply a custom version of its SB3024iL solar charge controller to Embedded Technologies of Preston Victoria as part of a series of satellite telephone systems being provided to the Australian Commonwealth by Activ8me also of Preston Victoria Australia.
Blue Sky Energy has received the 3rd in a series of orders to supply custom SB3024iL MPPT solar controllers for community telephones installed in remote indigenous communities under the Australian Commonwealth's Indigenous Communications Program. According to Melanie J. Cullen, V.P. of Operations and Marketing "We are very pleased that our Solar Boost 3024 charge controller has been performing well in this demanding application. The community phones are powered by both solar panels and optional grid power with the 3024 controlling battery charge from both sources."
Blue Sky Energy's SB3024iL controller was selected by Embedded Technologies as part of the equipment Embedded supplies to Activ8me, the provider of the satellite payphone system. Active8me is the official provider and installer of the Community Phones for the Indigenous Communications Program. Blue Sky Energy's, V.P. of Operations and Marketing Melanie Cullen said "The program to supply telephones to populations in remote areas of Australia is one we are proud to take part in.
