WINDSUN ENERGY SYSTEMS OF CARLSBAD, IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE BIRCH AQUARIUM, LA JOLLA, HAS JUST COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION OF 3 WIND TURBINES FOR THE INSTITUTES "BOUNDLESS ENERGY" EXHIBIT. THE EXHIBIT OFFICIALLY OPENED ON JULY 7TH. THE EXHIBIT WILL RUN FOR 5 YEARS AND EXPECTS TO DRAW OVER 4 MILLION VISITORS IN THAT TIME.

THE WIND TURBINE DISPLAY CONSISTS OF AN 'URBAN GREEN ENERGY', TANGARIE AND ENERGYBALL TURBINES. TWO OF THE UNITS, THE EDDY AND THE GALE ARE VERTICAL AXIS TURBINES WHILE THE ENERGYBALL IS A NEW DESIGN IN HORIZONTAL AXIS CONCEPTS.
BOTH THE URBAN GREEN ENERGY AND THE TANGARIE BRANDS ARE OFFERED BY WINDSUN ENERGY SYSTEMS AND RANGE IN POWER FROM 600 WATT TO 9000 WATTS, MORE THAN ENOUGH TO POWER A HOME WITH THE RIGHT WIND.
