Natural Power appointed as Owner's Engineer on 20.5MW Sixpenny Wood wind farm

Natural Power has been appointed as Owner's Engineer at Sixpenny Wood wind farm for AES Wind Generation, a subsidiary of the energy company AES Corporation.

Leading international renewable energy consultancy group Natural Power has been appointed as Owner's Engineer at Sixpenny Wood wind farm for AES Wind Generation, a subsidiary of the energy company AES Corporation. Construction on the farm, located in East Riding of Yorkshire, is expected to commence in February 2012 and will comprise of 10 REpower 2.05MW turbines.


Natural Power will be acting as Construction Design and Management co-ordinator on behalf of AES Wind Generation, which involves preparing the Health & Safety File as well as commenting on construction method statements. The consultancy will also deploy a Clerk of Works who will be on site monitoring the on-site progress and quality of the works, as well as reporting on any potential on-site health and safety issues, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the planning conditions.
