Natural Power and SeaRoc open new office in Orkney, UK, to support the growing marine industry

Natural Power and marine engineering specialists SeaRoc are opening a new office in Orkney, establishing a new joint presence for the companies to support the development of marine projects and encourage the growth of the wave and tidal energy industry.

Leading international renewable energy consultancy Natural Power and marine engineering specialists SeaRoc are opening a new office in Orkney, establishing a new joint presence for the companies to support the development of marine projects and encourage the growth of the wave and tidal energy industry.


The Orkney office will provide a base for Natural Power and SeaRoc staff working on wave and tidal projects in the Orkney and Pentland Firth area, with expert advice being given in consent, resource assessment, ecological advice and surveying.

Previous work in the Orkney and Pentland Firth area includes Natural Power's resource assessment study of tidal energy potential for RWE npower Renewables and a resource assessment study of wave energy potential for SSE.
