REFUsol presents high efficiency solar inverters and innovative accessories and monitoring tools at Solar Power International 2012, Orlando, FL

REFUsol 020K-SCI featuring silicon carbide reaches peak efficiency of 98.7 percent

Orlando, Florida, September 10, 2012 – REFUsol, a leading manufacturer of solar inverters, is showcasing its ARRA compliant 12 - 24 kW string inverters, the highly efficient REFUsol 333K outdoor rated central inverter, and the high-end 20 kW string REFUsol 020K-SCI inverter featuring silicon carbide technology at Solar Power International 2012 in Orlando, Florida from September 10 - 13. The exhibits are accompanied by innovative accessories and monitoring tools for PV systems.

With a rated AC power of up to 23.2 kW, the compact, transformerless string inverters, REFUsol 012K, 016K, 020K and 024K-UL can be smoothly integrated into solar installations to help reach maximum output. The inverters are specifically made for rooftop systems and solar parks, from 12 kW up to multi-megawatts. Also, at SPI, REFUsol will introduce their line of European 1000V inverters to the US market. These will have UL certification by early 2013.

Most recently, REFUsol was awarded the Plus X Award -- across four different categories – innovation, high quality, functionality and ecology - for its REFUsol 020K-SCI inverter. This latest member of the product family, featuring silicon carbide (SCI) technology and a peak efficiency of 98.7 percent, was recently tested "A+" by the Photon magazine and is ranked in a top position. REFUsol inverters have been ranked top in Photon efficiency factor tests for many years.

In addition, the company is showcasing its newly revised monitoring tool REFUlog and the REFUsol Modbus© Solution which enables third party monitoring.

The web based portal REFUlog is available in both basic and pro versions and supports operators in controlling and analyzing the efficiency of PV plants. With optimized email reports, the monitoring of PV installations has become even easier – as the display of additional parameters as well as new export functions were also added. Moreover, the statistic functions were optimized in the basic, and even more comprehensively in the pro version. Further additions to the portal will follow within the next months. The REFUlog app has been updated as well. It now includes tabular statistics and a new user-friendly view in landscape format for charts and graphics. Furthermore, from specific sorting and filtering configurations as well as current values per plant and solar inverter can now be displayed.

REFUsol's Modbus monitoring solution offers instant integration with industry-leading, third-party monitoring software providers including Also Energy, DECK Monitoring, Draker, Locus Energy and Noveda Technologies. The new REFUsol Modbus solution provides inverter-direct communications with plug-and-play support for REFUsol 012K-UL, 016K-UL, 020K-UL and 024K-UL inverters and offers advanced diagnostic tools to monitor inverter and site performance.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
