Lend Lease Welcomes New Solar Business Developer

Mr. Poulin has more than 30-years' experience in the renewable energy industry.

October 23, 2012 (New York, NY) – Property solutions and infrastructure provider, Lend Lease, is pleased to announce William (Bill) C. Poulin has joined the company in the newly created position, Vice President and Business Development Director for Solar Services. Mr. Poulin has more than 30-years' experience in the renewable energy industry, and brings a long history with a proven track record in driving large global project portfolios into the solar energy arena.


Prior to joining Lend Lease Bill held numerous, key operational and development roles focusing on solar development including 10 years with BP Solar. During his time with BP, Bill formalized BP Solar's Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) capability into a cohesive team focused on providing the most cost-effective, reliable and safe installations in the US. As a result, Bill delivered highly-successful commercial-scale projects with Wal-Mart and FedEx, as well as large utility-scale projects such as the 37 megawatt Long Island Power Authority system. Most recently, Mr. Poulin served as the Senior Director of Business Development-Renewables for Leviton Manufacturing, where he developed strategies which operated Leviton's new renewable energy business.

Bill earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from John Hopkins University (Magna Cum Laude), and has held Board positions for multiple organizations in the renewable energy industry. Lend Lease has been providing solar and renewable energy solutions for more than a decade as development manager, construction manager, design-builder and owner. To date, Lend Lease has completed over 30 megawatts of operating photovoltaic systems, with another 70 megawatts underway or in development across the country.
