aleo solar AG with new High-Efficiency modules
The High-Efficiency modules are also available with Solrif frames for roof integration in certain countries.
Oldenburg, Prenzlau / 13 December 2012. At the beginning of 2013, aleo solar AG will be introducing modules which make even more efficient use of the sunlight thanks to anti-reflection glass, highly transparent embedding film and special cell connectors. This means that the monocrystalline S_19 and S_79 and the polycrystalline S_18 and S_24 aleo modules have higher power classes. The High-Efficiency modules are also available with Solrif frames for roof integration in certain countries.
The anti-reflection glass used lets more light into the module thanks to its thin coating on the glass surface. The EVA embedding film possesses better transparency properties, particularly in the ultraviolet spectrum. The new modules offer an additional increase in performance thanks to special cell connectors: the structured surface of the "light harvesting string" (LHS) directs more light to the solar cells. "This combination of module components has enabled us to increase efficiency," says Jens Sabotke, Chief Technical and Development Officer of aleo solar AG. "Thanks to High-Efficiency, we now have high-performance solar modules up to 265 watts, made in Germany."
The High–Efficiency modules include the aleo S_19 in power classes of up to 265 watts, the black S_79 up to 260 watts, the S_18 up to 255 watts and the S_24 up to 205 watts. The Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin has conducted tests which confirm the new modules' high output. The IEC certification will be completed this year, while the UL and MCS certification processes will follow at the beginning of 2013.
