International PV (PhotoVoltaic) Monitoring Manufacturer, Solare Datensysteme, Finishes 2012 with a 72% Growth in Sales

Sales to remain stable for the coming 2013 year

Bethel, CT and Binsdorf, Germany - Solar Data Systems, Inc. and its parent company, Solare Datensysteme GmbH, have announced that contrary to the general trend in the solar industry, the PV monitoring market leader, Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS), has posted record sales in 2012. Compared with 2011, sales have increased by 72% to 30 million euro ($39.2 million US).

"Thanks to our innovative developments and designs that are tailored to the needs of the power industry and to the differing requirements from country to country, we have been able to increase our sales. We also expect sales to remain stable for the coming 2013 year," said Managing Partner Guy Thouin. As a result of making strategy adjustments at an early stage and expanding market presence in North America, Asia and 12 additional European countries, sales figures have continued to increase. The developments in the U.S. and Canada have been particularly positive, as the SDS subsidiary, Solar Data Systems, Inc., has also reported increasing sales figures after a two year start-up phase, Mr. Thouin added.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
