24th Annual Energy Fair Now Accepting Advanced Ticket Sales, Volunteer, and Camping Registrations

Every year the village of Custer transforms into a hub of renewable energy and sustainable living education, entertainment, and food! Come April 1, you will have your chance to sign up to volunteer, buy advanced tickets, and reserve your camping site for The 24th Annual Energy Fair.

Every year the village of Custer transforms into a hub of renewable energy and sustainable living education, entertainment, and food! Come April 1, you will have your chance to sign up to volunteer, buy advanced tickets, and reserve your camping site for The 24th Annual Energy Fair (sites sell out fast). This year's Energy Fair will be held June 21 - June 23 with volunteer opportunities June 17 - June 24.


Last year's Energy Fair saw over 300 volunteers helping with a variety of tasks from front gate sales to working in the MREA Café. Volunteers who devote 2 hours of time during The Energy Fair will get free admission that same day of the event. Those who are able to devote 12 hours of volunteer time receive free weekend admission, a free pass to the Networking Dinner, and a coveted Hardcore Volunteer shirt, a $60.00 value.

Along with volunteer registration, advanced ticket sales will open April 1st. MREA members need only present their membership card to get in free. Sign up as a $70.00 MREA Basic Family member (same cost as weekend admission) and receive many wonderful membership benefits along with free entrance to The Energy Fair. Those with advanced tickets will enjoy a speedier entry into The Energy Fair. Kids 13 and under are free!

1-Day Ticket
Adult: $15.00
Senior (65 and older): $10.00
Youth (13-18): $10.00

Weekend Ticket
Adult: $35.00
Senior (65 and older): $20.00
Youth (13-18): $20.00

Many who come to The Energy Fair tent or RV camp at the MREA's Back 40 Campground. Prices are $20.00 per tent, per night and reservations begin April 1st.
