‘Maximising the Potential of Renewable Energy through Numerical Simulation' Seminar

NAFEMS, the international association for the engineering analysis, modelling and simulation community, is pleased to announce it is offering free places to its ‘Maximising the Potential of Renewable Energy through Numerical Simulation' seminar on 21st May to All-Energy 2013 delegates.

NAFEMS Offers Free Places at its ‘Maximising the Potential of Renewable Energy through Numerical Simulation' Seminar ... All-Energy 2013 delegates (Aberdeen, Scotland, UK) can attend the ground-breaking seminar for free; it is being held as a programme of 'associated events' the day before the UK's largest renewable energy show opens.

GLASGOW, UK, MAY 8TH 2013 – NAFEMS, the international association for the engineering analysis, modelling and simulation community, is pleased to announce it is offering free places to its ‘Maximising the Potential of Renewable Energy through Numerical Simulation' seminar on 21st May to All-Energy 2013 delegates.

"We are excited be part of All-Energy 2013, and to be extending NAFEMS' reach to the renewable energy sector." commented Tim Morris, NAFEMS CEO. "Simulation and analysis can bring many benefits to companies looking to overcome the challenges presented in maximising the potential of renewables, and we are delighted to welcome some industry-leading speakers to what is sure to be an unmissable event."

Taking place in Aberdeen, UK, the awareness seminar will focus on the current challenges, including addressing physics applications. Presentations will be made by industry leaders as well as regulators and manufacturers. This educational event will primarily focus on Wind, Wave and Tidal Energy.

Seminar Themes
The event presentations will discuss the following key themes:-
• Aerodynamics / Computational Fluid Dynamics
• Mechanical Integrity / Stress Analysis / FE Calculations
• Heat Transfer
• Multi-Disciplinary Calculations
• Statistical Methods
• Product Design & Process Optimisation Studies
• Simulation Data Managements

Who Should Attend?
This awareness seminar will focus on the current challenges with regard to both education and the technology. The event will be of interest to engineers and managers who are involved in or interested in learning more about the potential for engineering simulations to achieve safe and sustainable energy production.
