New Photovoltaics in France investment guide

Investment workshop series by Solarpraxis, pv magazine and Taylor Wessing sheds light on PV growth markets in France, Japan, Latin America and the Gulf Region

Berlin, July 22, 2013. Solarpraxis AG has published a new investment guide entitled Photovoltaics in France. The free publication outlines the legal and political conditions surrounding photovoltaics in France, and provides information on approval procedures, land securement, project funding and the procurement and sale of proprietary rights for projects and completed solar parks. The investment guide, which was published in collaboration with the Franco-German Office for Renewable Energy, also offers practical business development advice. It was written by Xavier Daval from kiloWattsol, and Paul Elfassi and François Versini-Campinchi from CGR Legal.

Further information on topics such as the French solar market is provided by the "PV in..." investment workshop series, which takes place in Munich on September 3 and 4. The speakers include Xavier Daval, who will report on market prospects and the future of French solar energy subsidies as well as provide tips on entering the French market, and Nicolas Pagès, the CEO of juwi EnR Solar, who will present case studies for France.

Subsequent half-day workshops will see industry experts ranging from project planners and lawyers to tax advisors, suppliers and consultants provide extensive information on the PV growth market of Japan and up-and-coming PV markets in Latin America and the Gulf Region. A separate question and answer session during the workshops provides an excellent opportunity for attendees to ask questions, allowing them to gain tailored advice on business development and entering the various countries' markets. The target group of the English-language workshops comprises financing experts, project developers and manufacturers as well as consultants working in the photovoltaics industry. The four events are being jointly organized with the law firm Taylor Wessing.

In fall 2012, the Berlin-based knowledge service provider Solarpraxis AG successfully launched its new investment workshop series, which serves as a platform for rapidly providing industry experts with comprehensive information on business development in new growth markets. Investment guides on the most important markets are released to complement these events.
