American Roll Form Products (ARFP), a manufacturer of custom roll formed products for the solar industry, recently installed a new rolling mill designed for high-speed and flexibility at their 53,200 square foot newly opened satellite manufacturing facility located in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new rolling mill is a robust piece of equipment built to withstand the rigorous demands of forming complex profiles while still allowing increased production throughput.

The stock reel is a double-ended uncoiler with 10,000 pound coil capacity, and the five-roll straightener will flatten even the most reluctant coils. The rolling mill is geared to manufacture heavy gage sections utilizing heavy-duty 3" gear boxes. This mill utilizes quick-change technology with 2.00" and 3.00" diameter arbor cassettes for fast change over and increased efficiencies. This machine will accept coil widths up to 24" and has a total of 24 forming passes with the flexibility of adding additional forming passes to handle future opportunities. This combined with the 200 horsepower output allows ARFP to form even the most demanding profiles. At the exit end of this machine is a 3-axis parts straightener and an impressive high-speed hydraulic flying post-punch and cutoff system.

Headquartered in Painesville, Ohio, ARFP has three manufacturing facilities with over 210,000 square feet under roof and 31 rolling mills. Their impressive capabilities include pre-punching up to 250 tons, turn-key fabrication with (2) Amada turret type punching systems and a 350 Ton Press Brake, and Robotic Welding. Their customer list includes regional firms in the Midwest as well as Fortune 50 companies and major OEM's throughout the USA. To find additional information about ARFP, visit www.arfpcorp.com. SolarEdge Technologies - EV Charging Single Phase Inverter

The SolarEdge PV inverter combines sophisticated digital control technology with efficient power SolarEdge's EV charging single phase inverter offers homeowners the ability to charge electric vehicles up to six times faster than a standard Level 1 charger through an innovative solar boost mode that utilizes grid and PV charging simultaneously. This product is the world's first EV charger with an integrated PV inverter. Reducing the hassle of installing separately a standalone EV charger and a PV inverter, the EV charging inverter eliminates the need for additional wiring, conduit and a breaker installation. By installing an EV charger that is integrated with an inverter, no additional dedicated circuit breaker is needed, saving space and ruling out a potential upgrade to the main distribution panel. Whether you own an EV now or just want to be EV-ready, future-proof your home with SolarEdge.
