Updates to PV Powerhouse™ Enable Solar Installers to Design Larger Arrays and Obtain Stamped Structural Acceptance Letters

PV Powerhouse, Schletter Inc's online design tool for flush mount roof top systems now produces stamped structural acceptance letters on demand and allows for commercial-scale design.

August 1, 2013, Shelby, North Carolina — Schletter, a worldwide leader in photovoltaic mounting systems, announces updates to its online flush mount design tool, PV Powerhouse. Designed to make the program seamless, updates include an automatically-generated stamped structural acceptance letter with every completed design, thermal expansion calculation, and the ability to design larger arrays.

Released earlier this year, PV Powerhouse instantly generates a flush mount rooftop PV design based on user provided information including roof type, module dimensions, and mounting area. Within minutes, PV Powerhouse produces project layout information, sample installation drawings, a stamped structural acceptance letter, and a complete parts list. The parts list can then be exported to the company's eCommerce shopping site for convenient ordering. According to the company, systems ordered online are produced and shipped out within two business days.

"The recent updates to PV Powerhouse allow installers to design commercial-scale flush mount systems, automatically generate stamped letters, and see two-day turnaround times," stated Angela Kliever, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Schletter. "We've made PV Powerhouse the most powerful tool available on the market for flush mount systems while keeping in mind ease-of-use with average design times taking less than five minutes."

The updated version of PV Powerhouse is now available for use by visiting www.pvpowerhouse.com.
