In the opening session of the 2013 Renewable Energy Technology Conference & Exhibition (RETECH), event organizers from Access Intelligence announced a new strategic partnership with Hannover Fairs USA to produce an international pavilion on the show floor, as well as contribute new, relevant content to the conference program at RETECH 2014.

"As the renewable energy industry in the United States, European Union and Asia has rapidly accelerated, we have seen companies, governments and other organizations increasingly recognize the need for international collaboration," said Jenn Heinold, Vice President, RETECH. "Whether it's foreign companies looking to access a new market, innovative technology companies seeking strategic partners or a government looking to entice foreign direct investment, RETECH is central to the conversation and our new alliance with Hannover Fairs will help us capitalize on its strengths."

RETECH is already a key meeting place for renewable energy industry leaders around the world. This year's conference will include government, utility, technology and finance professionals from 35 countries. The partnership with Hannover Fairs, one of the world's largest energy show organizers, will expand the conference's global reach to key leaders and decision makes to discuss common themes regarding the industry's foreseeable future.

"This strategic alliance capitalizes on our respective strengths," said Don Pazour, CEO of Access Intelligence. "Hannover Fairs is the U.S. subsidiary of the largest organizer of energy shows in the world, Deutsche Messe, and this new alliance will allow them to better serve the U.S. market through our two flagship energy events-Electric Power and RETECH."

"ACORE created RETECH in 2009 out of the overwhelming success of WIREC 2008. In 2010-2011, ACORE transitioned ownership of RETECH to TradeFair Group, a subsidiary of Access Intelligence to ensure the continuation of this strong event; and even though ACORE is not involved in running the event, it continues to be a supporter of the event given the quality of its content and the educational value it holds for our industry," said Michael Brower, CEO, ACORE. "Given our past strong and fruitful relationships with both companies in the past, ACORE is excited that Access Intelligence and Hannover Fairs USA are joining forces to maintain this integral event to facilitate continued conversation and education on key finance mechanisms, policies, market drivers and technologies that accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in the US and globally."

RETECH 2014 will continue to bring together key stakeholders from the vertical markets within renewable energy (wind, solar, waste, geothermal, biofuels, hydro and more) with the financiers, insurers, policy makers, utility companies and users of renewable energy technology. RETECH's mission is to lead the charge in project development, financing and implementation of renewable energy technology into the larger power generation ecosystem.
