CARLSBAD, CA, OCTOBER 10, 2013 – Greenwood Biosar, a leading solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor, today announced that James M. McCrea has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mr. McCrea will oversee the company's operations throughout the Americas. His focus will be on managing Greenwood Biosar's solar engineering and construction projects, and creating an optimized project flow -- from contract execution to warranty and maintenance.

Mr. McCrea brings over 28 years of construction experience to Greenwood Biosar and possesses the deep knowledge and expertise required to handle large-scale construction projects. For the six years prior to joining Greenwood Biosar, he was Director of Construction at Solar Power Inc. Previously, Mr. McCrea held senior executive posts at Valley Commercial Contractors, STS Building Consultants, Meehan McCrea Construction, Tim Logan Construction, and Myers Building Industries.

Mr. McCrea earned his BA at Hartwick College in New York, and his NABCEP certification from Diablo Valley College in California.

Greenwood Biosar specializes in the design, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of solar power plants. The company is currently active in constructing utility-scale solar projects in locations throughout the United States and Central America.
