ACORE's Statement on Senate Finance Committee Chairman Baucus and Tax Policy
New package of proposals to overhaul America's tax code
December 19, 2013
Washington, DC – Today, Michael Brower, ACORE's Interim President and CEO, released the following statement on Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus's new package of proposals to overhaul America's tax code:
"ACORE commends Chairman Baucus and the Senate Finance Committee for their continuing support of tax policy that encourages private sector investment in clean renewable electricity and fuels," explained Brower. "Chairman Baucus' discussion draft calls for an important long-term policy commitment to clean energy investment which is an essential element of a simplified tax code and continuing the progress the industry has made in harnessing our nation's abundant domestic renewable resources. Present renewable energy tax policies are effective, and they can be improved to channel even more capital into clean, American-made energy. We look forward to working with Senator Baucus and the Senate Finance team on advancing effective tax policy that leverages even more private investment and brings long-term certainty to the industry."

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production
In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
