GEM Energy awarded certification as NYSERDA solar installer
GEM Energy, a Rudolph/Libbe company headquartered in Walbridge, Ohio, with offices in Baldwinsville, NY, is now an approved NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research & Development Authority) solar installer.
WALBRIDGE, OHIO (June 19, 2014) – GEM Energy, a Rudolph/Libbe company headquartered in Walbridge, Ohio, with offices in Baldwinsville, NY, is now an approved NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research & Development Authority) solar installer.
GEM Energy is a turnkey solar developer with capabilities including project financing, design, engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance. The certification qualifies GEM Energy to perform NYSERDA-funded solar projects.

GEM Energy and Rudolph/Libbe solar projects range from small roof-top arrays to large, ground mounted utility-scale projects.
In 2013, GEM Energy's partner company, Rudolph/Libbe Inc., ranked 105th in Solar Power World's Top 250 Solar Contractors and 43rd in Solar Power World's Top 50 Commercial Solar Contractors. The list ranks applicants according to influence in the residential, commercial and utility solar-installation markets.
GEM Energy also is a member of the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), a certification awarded to creditable solar installers and integrators.
This is GEM Energy's second NYSERDA certification. GEM also is an approved vendor in the NYSERDA CHP (Combined Heat and Power) Acceleration Program, which provides financial incentives for the installation of pre-engineered CHP programs.
