OST Energy releases an independent technical review on Wuxi Suntech's products and manufacturing

WUXI, China, Aug. 11, 2014 -- The quality of Wuxi Suntech's polycrystalline silicon modules rank above industry standards according to OST Energy's independent technical review of the company. OST Energy also provided independent validation that Wuxi Suntech's production facilities are in line with international (IFC and World Bank) lender requirements for a primary supply chain.

"These results further validate our commitment to our customers to provide modules of the highest quality and reliability in mass production and design."

This review is the latest in third-party verification of the quality of Suntech products. Most recently, Suntech products received the VDE Quality-Tested certification, attesting that Suntech modules exceed existing industry standards. Suntech is only the third brand globally to receive this ranking.

Recently acquired by Hong Kong-based Shunfeng Photovoltaics Ltd., Suntech now has the strongest financial footing in the solar industry with nearly zero debt allowing the company to invest in growing the business through partnerships and expansion of its sales, marketing and services teams.
