Endura Energy Project Corp. Announces the Completion of Two Commercial Solar Power Plants in the Greater Toronto Area
Endura Energy Project Corp. ("Endura Energy") is pleased to announce that it has completed the design and construction of nearly 1.5 MW of rooftop solar photovoltaic ("PV") energy projects in the Greater Toronto Area for Highroad Estates Inc. ("Highroad"), a Canadian private company and Genterra Capital Inc. ("Genterra"), a Canadian management holding company.
Toronto, Ontario November 27, 2014
The two rooftop solar projects are located in commercial urban areas at 140 Wendell Ave., Toronto, Ontario and 450 Dobbie Drive, Cambridge, Ontario. The developments comprise a part of Genterra's recent investment activities, focusing on the retention and management of Genterra's income producing real estate portfolio. "Endura Energy provided professional services and consistent project management that helped see these projects through to successful completion," stated Mark Litwin, President of Genterra.
Solar rooftop projects in commercial urban areas provide power generation where the power is needed most and mitigates the need for the transport and distribution of electricity from distant parts of the province. 1.5 MW of installed solar power provides enough energy to power approximately 200 average homes and reduces carbon emissions equivalent to planting 900 trees, each year.
"Our solar engineering team continues to grow its mandates and expertise in delivering successful solar power projects to a wide array of customers in the Ontario marketplace," stated Cameron Steinman, President of Endura Energy. "Endura is very proud of its contribution to the development of solar photovoltaic power in Ontario".
