Beckett Energy Systems and Steatite Sign Distribution Agreement to Bring Beckett's Commercialized Lithium-ion Advanced Battery Technology Solutions to Europe

This collaboration expands the reach of Beckett's light weight, energy dense, rechargeable lithium-ion battery solutions into the European Union.

CLEVELAND and REDDITCH, Worcestershire, England, Sept. 9, 2015 -- Beckett Energy Systems, a manufacturer of highly scalable 24 Volt lithium-ion modules and battery management systems, has signed a European distribution agreement with Steatite. This collaboration expands the reach of Beckett's light weight, energy dense, rechargeable lithium-ion battery solutions into the European Union.

The 24 volt large format lithium-ion module is a "commercial-off-the-shelf", UN transport approved, solution that will save OEM customers significant time and costs vs custom designed battery packs. The long cycle life modules can be easily configured to match the voltage and capacity requirements of the customer's application. The battery management system (BMS) keeps the high energy density lithium-ion battery modules operating safely and ensures their optimum performance for long life.

Brad Moore, Senior Business Development Manager at BES states, "We are excited about partnering with Steatite to increase the visibility and penetration of our advanced technology lithium-ion battery solution in the European Union. Both of our companies share a passion for providing value added solutions and each has been successful in similar target market applications - Maritime, Oil & Gas, Military and Energy Storage. We look forward to a mutually beneficial future."

Paul Edwards, Divisional Director at Steatite Paul Edwards, Battery Manager at Steatite adds, "We are delighted to be partnering with Beckett Energy systems on the distribution of their lithium ion battery module. Both companies share similar core values with our business based on engineering excellence; technical support and establishing strong working relationships with the end customer. This agreement adds an additional product dimension, a commercial-off-the-shelf, rechargeable lithium-ion battery solution for our existing and new customers. Through collaborative working with Beckett we envisage a promising future."

Both Beckett and Steatite will be showcasing the 24Vdc, 1.1kWh lithium-ion battery module at respective shows, The Battery Show (Novi, MI booth 1725) and the Defence Security Equipment International (DSEI 2015) London, UK stand S3-385 from 15th - 18th September 2015.

RBI Solar - Dahlia Has You Covered

What if you could maximize the Ground Coverage Ratio (GCR) on your next project and not have to worry about the complicated variables that come with a tracker system? With a low tilt and clearance design, Dahlia® has the highest GCR of any fixed-tilt system in the marketplace. The system is available in three tilt options (7.5, 10 and 12.5 degrees) and designed to accommodate any sized PV module. The lightweight system is engineered with fewer components, several of which are shipped to job sites pre-assembled. This design feature reduces freight costs and rapidly trims the amount of on-site installation time required to complete construction. Maximizing PV coverage on a site can lead to an increase of production, which creates greater financial return for project owners. Over 100 MW of Dahlia® projects have been deployed across the United States, in regions of variable snow and wind loads. How much can Dahlia® cover and save you on your next project?
