Solar Farm Company Announces Over 350 Megawatts of Shovel Ready Projects

Solar Farm development continues to thrive and grow in many solar friendly U.S. states. Large scale solar farm project developers like Innovative Solar Systems, LLC (ISS) are lessening the carbon footprint of this country as increasingly more fossil fuel power plants are being shut down due to EPA regulations regarding emissions on coal fired facilities.

Asheville, NC October 05, 2015 -- One of the largest USA Solar Developers, ISS is announcing its most recent portfolio of shovel-ready solar farms, totaling over 350MW of projects, in several southern states. These projects vary in size from distribution line projects, 2MW and 5MW, to transmission line projects, 20MW to 50MW, and have long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with large investor-owned utilities.

Having grown rapidly in the past 5 years, ISS is currently one of the major solar developers in the USA. It has specialized in developing large utility-scale projects up to 80MW in size, currently having three of the largest projects being built in NC: two 80MW projects and one 75MW project. In the last year, ISS has sold over 400MW of projects that are under construction or will start construction in the coming months, consolidating its position as one of the largest developers in the country. In 2016, ISS expects to have in excess of 2GW of projects in its pipeline, across several states in the south, east and mid-west of USA.
