FREMONT, CA, NOV. 2, 2015 -Today NEXTracker, Inc. , a Flex company, marks a significant milestone: the company is now shipping 100 MW of its solar trackers per week to locations around the world. NEXTracker has over 1800 MW of advanced trackers operating or under construction with several dozen customers on five continents.

"Were totally focused on the success of our customers by providing design services, value-added features, product quality emphasis, and on-site support during this period of rapid growth and worldwide adoption. Our executive team has over 100 years of cumulative tracker product and solar project experience that were leveraging to help customers maximize results on their solar projects around the world," said NEXTracker CEO Dan Shugar. "Leading project developers, owners, and EPCs (engineering, procurement and construction companies) are increasingly selecting NEXTracker for the advancements weve refined to ensure the construction of solar power systems that generate higher energy yield, offer greater durability, and increased savings."

"NEXTracker's achievement of this major production and shipment milestone is exciting news," said Stephen Jones, director of solar at Blattner Energy. "I am very satisfied with the deliveries we have already received and quality customer service that NEXTracker has provided on our solar projects. As more of Blattner's projects get underway over the next two months, I take comfort knowing we are working with an exceptional manufacturer."

"In addition to serving leading EPCs in the USA like Blattner Energy, and since becoming a part of Flex, NEXTracker is expanding our on-the-ground manufacturing and operational presence in new markets," added Shugar. "Having a growing global presence enables us to readily secure manufacturing materials; ramp up QMS (quality management system) / local supply chain capabilities; and deploy quality systems very rapidly to meet increased customer demand."

The leading solution for commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar power systems, NEXTracker is now being used in a significant percentage of grounded-mounted PV projects. NEXTracker's fewer foundations and assembly points help mitigate geotechnical risk and accelerate project construction schedules. With independent rows and high slope tolerance, NEXTracker minimizes site preparation costs while providing the flexibility to install more solar power per site. NEXTrackers enhanced construction tolerances, self-grounding and self-powered design provide valuable savings in labor and materials. The trackers wide rotational range and advanced tracking algorithms provides a significant energy yield gains, of 15 to 30% more energy, compared to non-tracking solar arrays in sunny areas.
