Los Angeles, CA - December 21 -Pick My Solar, an online solar purchasing marketplace, has expanded its popular California-based solar service across the country due to market demand. Pick My Solar will now make it possible for East Coast residents in Massachusetts and New York to "go solar" hassle-free through online comparison shopping.

Pick My Solars service is completely free for homeowners and provides expert consultations all via phone or email. The platform places solar projects out to bid on their QuickBid platform for qualified solar installers to anonymously compete for contracts. The end result is well below-market pricing, to the tune of $5,000 - $10,000, with the assurance of quality installations.
Co-founder and COO Chris Blevins is originally from New York and has been eager for the opportunity to bring his company home. "Theres been a continued internal pull to bring Pick My Solars service to New York, but the timing had not yet been right" said Blevins. "Were now logistically ready to enter the market and coincidently the markets maturity is just as ready for us."
Pick My Solar has quickly gained popularity throughout California and is now focusing on new markets. "California owns 55% of the national residential solar market and has continued to have explosive growth over the last decade; creating an opportunity for Pick My Solar to have Uber style disruption" exclaims Max Aram, Pick My Solars CEO. "Were looking forward to expanding our platform to service new areas," he adds.
Pick My Solar launched its service to the east coast in a pilot capacity in August, as a partner of Googles Project Sunroof. An influx of demand in surrounding areas quickly caused Pick My Solar to expand its service beyond the pilot program.
