Energy-efficient La-Z-Boy World Headquarters recognized as an Outstanding Project of 2015 by CAM magazine

The new La-Z-Boy World Headquarters has been recognized as an "Outstanding Project of 2015" by the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) magazine. Awards were presented this week at CAM's 130th annual meeting.

Monroe, Mich. (February 5, 2016) - The new La-Z-Boy World Headquarters has been recognized as an "Outstanding Project of 2015" by the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) magazine.


Awards were presented this week at CAMs 130th annual meeting.

The 200,000-square-foot La-Z-Boy corporate office was completed in March 2015 in partnership with design/build contractor Rudolph/Libbe Inc. of the Rudolph Libbe Group and The Collaborative Inc. design firm.

Built to the latest energy-efficient standards, the LEED® Silver-certified building features a three-story, glassed-in lobby with an oak savannah view and natural lighting. The building occupies about 40 acres of a total 120. The remaining 80 acres, which include an endangered oak savanna ecosystem, have been left untouched as a nature preserve.
