Natural Power advises Impax on Irish wind financing deal
Natural Power acts as technical adviser and owners engineer to Impax Asset Management
Renewable energy consultancy, Natural Power, acted as technical adviser and owners engineer to Impax Asset Management in the deal to secure a debt financing package from Nord/LB to fund the construction of a 36 MW wind project in the Republic of Ireland.
Paul Concannon, Natural Powers Construction Project Manager in Ireland, said: "Ireland is a key market for us, and were delighted to be involved in Impax Asset Managements Glanaruddery wind farm project, which is already under construction in County Kerry."
The project comprising 11 V112-3.3MW Vestas turbines is expected to become fully operational in the second quarter of 2017.
Ryan Cameron, Director at Impax, said: "This wind farm is an important asset in our Irish wind portfolio, which we are committed to expanding through 2020 and beyond."
