Indiana based inverter manufacturer Fronius is pleased to announce its participation in the Solar Power PV Conference & Expo in Chicago, which is the largest solar event in the Midwest.

Portage, IN, October 2016 - Indiana based inverter manufacturer Fronius is pleased to announce its participation in the Solar Power PV Conference & Expo in Chicago, which is the largest solar event in the Midwest.


In 2012 Fronius moved their US headquarters to Portage, IN and grew the local presence ever since, including a 400,000 sq. ft. facility with a full manufacturing and testing line as well as a 226 kWp PV array. Being located only 45 min outside of Chicago, the Solar Power PV Conference & Expo Chicago is in home territory for Fronius. Panel discussion "From Rustbelt to Greenbelt"
Tristan Kreager, Director of Solar Energy at Fronius USA, will join a panel discussion about the economic impact of renewables on the industrial heartland of the US. Renewable energy manufacturing is growing at a fast pace and employs over 30,000 people while adding 25,000 new jobs over the next year. "With our US headquarters we are proudly contributing to this economic shift in the Midwest", says Kreager. The discussion will take place in the continental room C of the Chicago Hilton.

Professional weather sensors form the heart of large solar plants supporting their operation and performance. Lufft was the first manufacturer to combine several sensors in one housing, bringing the largest multiparameter weather sensor family with 19 members into being.
