Event returns to San Franciscos Mezzanine; proceeds benefit CALSEIAs work to expand Californias solar market

SACRAMENTO, CA, March 28, 2017 - Quick Mount PV and CALSEIA announce that Solar Battle of the Bands, a unique solar industry party and musical competition, will now be produced and hosted by CALSEIA, which is celebrating its 40th year of service to the California solar industry. The event will return to the Mezzanine in San Francisco on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, during the week of Intersolar North America.

Quick Mount PV, a California-based solar mounting manufacturer, founded Solar Battle of the Bands in 2011. This year, they will pass the torch to CALSEIA with the goal of building upon the event and expanding it in years to come.
"Weve always felt that Solar Battle of the Bands was an industry-wide event, not just a Quick Mount PV event," stated Claudia Wentworth, CEO of Quick Mount PV, the event founder and producer for the last six years. "We have been long-time supporters and members of CALSEIA and think they do great work for the industry. We want to further help their advocacy efforts in California, and we believe opening up this event to support CALSEIAs work is a win-win for everybody."
Last years sponsors included AEE Solar, Inovateus Solar, KB Racking, Mounting Systems Inc., SolarEdge Technologies, Intersolar, NABCEP, Solar Energy International, Solar Power World and SolarPro. Six company bands from Fronius, Exosun, Sunpower, SolarCity, Inovateus Solar, and Quick Mount PV performed for a packed house of over 1200 enthusiastic solar professionals throughout the night.
