There are more than 2.5 billion cars, which generate wind turbulence. The same wind turbine which is responsible for huge windmill rotation can be replaced by small efficient traffic wind turbines.
A Loughborough University PhD student has helped shed light on a solar panel puzzle that could lead to more efficient devices being developed.
Public report from PV Evolution Labs reveals over 20% of tested solar inverters failed safety and reliability tests while others had strong performance following testing.

Polysilicon prices keep declining amid the continuous CNY depreciation against USD this week. As major buyers remain cautious of placing the purchasing orders, polysilicon prices in China hold steady in CNY term, but are translated into a drop in the US dollar term. Meanwhile, since some Chinese polysilicon suppliers recently released their 1Q19 financial results with total cost and cash cost lower than USD 7.5/Kg and USD6.3/Kg, respectively, this suggests that the current polysilicon prices are still too high to reach the long term price bottom. Since major polysilicon suppliers attempt to leverage the further polysilicon cost reduction through their newly added capacity in China, all buyers are revised their target asking price down. With the increasing low cost supply, major buyers strengthen wait-and-see stance on the procurements at this moment.
SUNNY OUTLOOK FOR THE WORLDWIDE SOLAR MARKET: INTERSOLAR EUROPE 2019 CELEBRATES ANOTHER YEAR IN THE BOOKS
With 1,354 exhibitors, 100,000 square meters of exhibition space and around 50,000 visitors from 162 countries, Intersolar Europe - the world's leading exhibition for the solar industry - is celebrating another successful year along with its three accompanying energy exhibitions. From PV production technologies to hybrid inverters to subsidy-free business models, the topics explored at the 2019 event were highly diverse and well received by the crowds of visitors.
Azelio already offers a solution for storage of solar energy to secure a sustainable distributed baseload in areas with high solar irradiation. That solution can serve as a low-cost replacement for the diesel-generated electricity used in microgrid systems.
Pioneers of Remote Solar Design Technology Introduce Advanced Solar Software App, Entirely Free to Accelerate World's Transition to Solar Power
U.S. set to overtake South Korea in 2019 as world's largest grid-connected battery energy-storage market
By Camron Barati, senior analyst, solar and energy storageThe United States in 2019 will become the world's largest market for grid-connected battery energy storage, as solar-plus-storage and peaking capacity requirements drive increased procurement, according to IHS Markit.
WINDPOWER 2020 will be housed within CLEANPOWER, with new partners and programs for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage
This is the first time the company is exhibiting the protection system at an offshore wind event in the United States.
Power optimizers have the advantage of finding and quantifying failures continuously during operation.
Even as fracking has reduced the cost of natural gas, improvements in renewable energy technologies have brought their costs down to be cost-competitive with fossil fuels. In many cases, they can compete even without tax incentives in place.

What if you could maximize the Ground Coverage Ratio (GCR) on your next project and not have to worry about the complicated variables that come with a tracker system? With a low tilt and clearance design, Dahlia® has the highest GCR of any fixed-tilt system in the marketplace. The system is available in three tilt options (7.5, 10 and 12.5 degrees) and designed to accommodate any sized PV module. The lightweight system is engineered with fewer components, several of which are shipped to job sites pre-assembled. This design feature reduces freight costs and rapidly trims the amount of on-site installation time required to complete construction. Maximizing PV coverage on a site can lead to an increase of production, which creates greater financial return for project owners. Over 100 MW of Dahlia® projects have been deployed across the United States, in regions of variable snow and wind loads. How much can Dahlia® cover and save you on your next project?
