Sun Xtender® Batteries are manufactured by parent company Concorde® Battery Corporation, a leading aviation battery designer building sealed lead acid batteries under rigorous aerospace requirements. Sun Xtender Batteries pioneered the renewable energy storage battery with the original AGM Deep Cycle technology adopted by the US Military.

Sun Xtender's sealed, maintenance free design eliminates the requirement to monitor and replenish water levels. Propriety technologies include unique high density plates using thick lead calcium grids for longer operating life. PolyGuard® protection, a microporous separator, is used around the positive plate & AGM to prevent shorting from any shock or vibration. All Sun Xtender batteries feature copper alloy corrosion free connections for maximum conductivity. Sun Xtender batteries are built for long service life, long float life, and reliable operation at temperature extremes.
