AUSIB partners with World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE) for Wind Power India 2011

The Alliance for US India Business (AUSIB) and World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE) have entered into a partnership for the 2011 Wind Power India international conference and exhibition to be held in Chennai, India on April 7-9, 2011.

November 30, 2010, Washington D.C: The Alliance for US India Business (AUSIB) and World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE) have entered into a partnership for the 2011 Wind Power India international conference and exhibition to be held in Chennai, India on April 7-9, 2011. The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding to that effect on November 29, 2010.

Wind Power India 2011 is the first-of-its-kind international wind event to take place in India. It is the international counterpart of India's coveted national wind event, Wind India, which was launched in 2006 in Pune, India, by WISE. Wind Power India 2011 is expected to see over 1,000 delegates, 200 exhibitors and 60 speakers from the wind power industry and policy realm converge at Chennai to deliberate upon the latest technologies, innovations and growth potential of the industry.
