Clenergy, the leading solar solution provider, was glad to announce its platinum sponsorship of the only Malaysian solar vehicle team, the Eco Photon UiTM Solar Team, to compete in the 2015 World Solar Challenge.

Clenergy, the leading solar solution provider, was glad to announce its platinum sponsorship of the only Malaysian solar vehicle team, the Eco Photon UiTM Solar Team, to compete in the 2015 World Solar Challenge. Their solar car "Stingray" will compete in the Challenger Class.

Since the establishment of the Malaysia regional office, Clenergy is active in the Malaysian solar industry. This sponsorship is another strong indication of Clenergys commitment to support the Malaysian solar industry.

The World Solar Challenge is an extreme endurance event and the premier forum for electric vehicle technology. It presents a challenge for the students from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) to produce a green energy vehicle to race across Australia from Darwin to Adelaide - a 3000km journey. Though it is the first time for the Eco Photon UiTM Solar Team to join the challenge, they have won two consecutive years of Shell Eco-marathon Asia challenge since 2014.
