Solar Energy World Wins Chestertown Solar Co-op Project
The Chestertown Solar Co-op has selected Solar Energy World, the fastest-growing locally owned solar company in Maryland with over 4000 installations since founding in 2009, to install solar panels for the group through a competitive bidding process over four other firms.
Kent County, MD - The Chestertown Solar Co-op has selected Solar Energy World, the fastest-growing locally owned solar company in Maryland with over 4000 installations since founding in 2009, to install solar panels for the group through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. Solar United Neighbors expands access to solar by educating Maryland residents about the benefits of distributed solar energy, assisting the organization of group solar installations, and strengthening the states solar policies and its community of supporters. Co-op members selected Solar Energy World because of its ability to offer quality components at very competitive prices, and its extensive experience.
The co-op is open to new participants until January 31, 2018. Chestertown Area residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op webpage: solarunitedneighbors.org/Chestertown.
Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels however each member will receive a customized proposal from Solar Energy World based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system with the added support of the experts at Solar United Neighbors.
