QOS Energy delivers innovative energy management system to SunHydrO's Solar+Storage R&D project

QOS Energy, a leading renewable O&M analytics software provider, has completed the delivery of an innovative Energy Management System to SunHydrO, a combined renewable energy and storage R&D project led by French aggregator SunR Smart Energy. The SunHydrO project aims to foster the grid integration of variable renewable energy sources with the added flexibility offered by pumped hydro storage units.

iDemand Energy Storage Begins Work on 1-MW solar+battery project for California-based biochem lab

iDemand Energy Storage, a startup manufacturer of sustainable energy storage batteries, plans to start work in July on a $1.4 million contract awarded by SunFusion Solar to produce batteries for five buildings operated by biochemical manufacturer, Scantibodies Laboratory. Polysilicon prices had a moderate decline this week. As polysilicon buyers have already prepared enough inventories for the installation raft in June, they had no immediate rush for procurement at this moment. Instead, they tend to take a defensive stance as they anticipated a price downturn in the near future. Suppliers have started to slightly lower the prices amid dimmer outlook in late June. Overseas market remained bearish due to limited utilization rates of downstream wafer suppliers. With low utilization rates, wafer producers did not show interest in further purchase and hesitate to procure considering current prices were too high.
