Shoals Technologies Group, the global leader in photovoltaic OEM and balance of systems components, announces significant expansion in the Middle East, North Africa, and India, focusing on utility-scale photovoltaic installations.

"We believe there is tremendous growth in these regions and significant investment being committed by the countries of Saudi Arabia, India, Qatar, Jordan and United Arib Emirates in renewable energy marking a new beginning in utility solar projects. Phase One locations include Dubai/UAE, Abu Dhabi/UAE, Doha/Qatar, Riyadh/Saudi Arabia, New Delhi/India, Bangalore/ India. Daniel Koulianos of Shoals Technologies Group has been appointed Senior Country Manager of the Middle East, North Africa and West Asian regions and will be heading operations." said Dean Solon, President and CEO of Shoals Technologies Group.

In 2011 Shoals Technologies expanded their Asian operations with new facilities in Shanghai, lead by Mr. Tyson Hall, Vice President, Asia/Pacific. During that same year Shoals increased production in North America with a third manufacturing-engineering facility in Tennessee lead by Mr. George Solon. Shoals recently was awarded "Top 12 Industry Leader" by Photon Consulting for the second straight year and maintains debt free operations.

STG currently produces over 2.2 million assemblies per week, offering clients the expertise of distinguished design, and the flexibility of full, semi, and manual production modes. Shoals' state of the art facilities currently have the capacity to output over 15 MW per day. New domestic and international facilities planned for 2013-14 are projected to increase daily output to over 20 MW. By mid 2009 it is estimated that STG held over 67 percent of the United States balance of systems market and a significant percentage internationally with customers and distributors in 37 countries.
