Brandsmart USA and ABM To Fund $2 Million Retrofit With PACE Financing Through The Florida Green Energy Works Program

With the funding of a $2.225 million energy efficiency retrofit of the West Palm Beach BrandsMart retail store, the Florida Green Energy Works PACE program is pleased to announce the state's largest PACE project to date. Facility management leader ABM, which previously completed a $1.6 mil retrofit of BrandsMart's Miami location, has designed and is implementing the upgrades in the current project. This project represents the second PACE retrofit in the city of West Palm Beach, which is seeing its first retrofit completed in a few weeks. City officials have long supported PACE financing as a powerful tool for building owners who can utilize the program to fund improvements that pay for themselves with the savings on utility and insurance bills. The Florida Green Energy Works program is a statewide Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program funding energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency and wind mitigation improvements. Under PACE qualified property owners access the upfront cost for building improvements and repay the loan as a non-ad valorem assessment on the property tax.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
